Empower Installation Contractors Limited is a well-established Company founded in early 2007 with limited liabilities within Kenya and specializes in Electrical Power Stations, Distribution and transmission line construction, Station and Substation Electromechanical and Civil installations, Design and commissioning works, Power sector consultancy, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Installations and Maintenance services in the power sector.
At EMPOWER we always stress the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism coupled with extensive consultations with the client before work commences.
We believe in establishing a detailed works program and setting a realistic and achievable completion timetable. It is also our intention to maintain a sound base reputation and to provide the highest level of engineering service available.

Eng Steven Kigera
CEO, Head of Electrical Services Division (ESD)
Eng. Steven Kigera has 40 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering design, installation and maintenance works, protection and control system, commissioning of substations and project implementation and had occupied various senior managerial positions in KPLC and in the Military.
Eng George Muckoya
Project Manager, Head of Power Transmission & Distribution Division (PTD)
Eng Muckoya has worked with Kenya Power & Lighting Company (KPLC) for over 30 Years in Distribution and Transmission Division. He has a wealth of experience in all departments of Construction, Research, Standards, Procurement and Regional Management.
Peter Mbugua
Safety and Support
Peter Mbugua is a specialist in Substation installations and commissioning, working personnel safety, building installations and Engineering support. He has also attended safety training in connection to the power industry
Wilson Kamau
Head of Design
Wilson Kamau is trained in BSc in Control and Instrumentation and is currently heading the Design section of Project Management Team

Empower is currently seeking pre-qualification with the major Architectural, Engineering and Building Services, Consulting firms and International contractors.
